the search engine received a lot of flak due to color change in the doodle

commemorating India's 67th Independence Day, Google dedicated a doodle on its India homepage on Thursday. Inspired by the Indian flag, the doodle features a tricloured ribbon spelling out the word Google on the home page. However, the search engine received a lot of flak for wrongly using the colour yellow instead of saffron in the doodle.

Microblogging site Twitter was agog with people pointing out the faux pas on part of the biggest search engine. Hours after the mistake was pointed out, the Google team changed the colour to saffron.
